Terms and conditions expressed below are applied to all makeup and or hairstyle services provided by Maria* to you. Securing a makeup and or hairstyle booking with Maria* indicates acceptance and agreement of these terms and conditions by you.

Rates advertised on this website are current as of 2018, and are for bespoke makeup and/or hair styling services to be discussed with the client prior to event day.
All rates are fixed and non-negotiable.
Please be mindful that an additional travel fee may apply if travel to the preparation location is more than 20km (one way) from Maria's makeup studio in Ermington NSW. This usually starts from $40.
It is implied that parking will be provided at the location in which Maria* will be travelling to. In circumstances where this is not the case, the client will be required to cover any parking fees incurred while makeup/and hair services are being provided. For example, parking meter fees, hotel parking fare etc. This will be added to the final invoice.
If travel is required interstate or overseas, please indicate this to Maria in the contact form and she can propose a travel plan and the indicative fee required to service your makeup/hair request.
Booking & Payment
Bookings can be made up to one day prior to appointment date if there is availability, and require payment of a non-refundable deposit to secure the date. Bookings are made secure upon email confirmation of payment and Maria will exclusively reserve the event time and date agreed upon.
All trial booking dates are confirmed once a deposit is paid, and a confirmation email is sent to you in reply to your booking request with the mutually agreed time and date for trial and agreed quote for service.
Trial bookings require a non-refundable deposit of AUD $50 to secure the trial time and date exclusively, with balance payable on the day of the trial. Following the trial, if you would like to book Maria for your event, a non-refundable deposit must be made to secure your event date.

Once all event, makeup and/or hair styling application details have been agreed and discussed, a confirmation email will be sent to you for your acceptance and reply. When you confirm back via email, this means that you agree to the quotation, booking details and the following terms and conditions, and Maria will exclusively reserve the event time and date agreed upon.
All event bookings require a non-refundable booking fee deposit of AUD $100 to secure the event booking time and date, and is to be paid at time of booking. If the booking is made within 1 month of the event date, the booking fee (deposit) is 50% of the total quoted price and is a fully confirmed booking (AUD $100 of the quoted price is still deemed non-refundable).
For wedding bookings, the minimum booking required is $300.
If a wedding makeup and/or hair trial is done first, and if discussion has been had to proceed with booking makeup and/or hairstyling for the event, a confirmation email with all final quote and event details will be sent to you for your confirmation after your trial.
The remaining balance is due on event date, or 3 days preceding the event date.
Payments can be made by cash or direct credit transfer with details to be advised by Maria.
To cancel a booking, please give notification as soon as possible by emailing Maria at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Cancellation 72+ hours in advance
If the cancellation is received in writing more than 72 hours in advance of the event, only the non-refundable booking fee will be kept as a cancellation fee.
Cancellation less than 72 hours in advance
The only acceptable form of communication for cancellations within 72 hours or less is via phone call. Please call Maria on her mobile phone.
If the client cancels within 72 hours before the event date, he/she is liable for the remaining balance of the confirmed booking quote as that time and date will have been reserved exclusively for the client.
If the services are able to be re-booked for a revised event date where Maria* is available for service, the paid non-refundable booking fee will be transferred to the new date.
Depending on the size of your makeup and/or hair application and the time required to fulfill the booking, external help from trusted makeup artists and/or hair stylists maybe required to help fulfill the service. This will be communicated to the client prior to trial / event, once the number of looks are finalised.
In the event that Maria is suffering from any illness or an unforeseen event occurs disabling Maria to service the booking, all efforts will be exhausted to secure the services of another qualified/experienced and trusted professional makeup artist & hair stylist to cover the event and any deposit or fees paid to date will be transferred to the covering artist. In the event that cover can not be arranged for the event, a full 100% refund will be paid to the client.
